1970 was the year of transition in Grand Prix racing; the season that pitched the old guard against a feisty new breed of racers intent on pushing Formula One forward into the new decade. Nothing symbolised this battle more than the cars used by top contenders: Jacky Ickx’s Ferrari 312B relied on brute force to compensate for its outdated styling, whereas Jochen Rindt’s Lotus 72 showed that radical aerodynamics represented a brave and (potentially) faster way forward. And with the technological battles came a fascinating season’s racing. Jackie Stewart was the defending champion but took nothing for granted. When different drivers won the first four races, Stewart, and the world, knew that the Championship was wide open. Thrilling battles ensued until triumph and tragedy came together in one fatal collision: on the 5th of September 1970 Championship leader Jochen Rindt died during practice at Monza. He was to become the sport’s first posthumous champion.

Ruth tells Al her life story, and he makes it into a bestselling novel and then into a play. Jimmy sees the play and comes to his senses, winning Ruth's forgiveness.

A story about a careless mother and her lonely, insecure daughter. Eighteen year old Faye is always on the edge because of her mother's boyfriends. Her mother survives by running a beauty shop. Since there are only the two of them, they are very close and are at times like friends or sisters, but to Faye, her carefree mother is also like a child she needs to watch after. She is also plagued by rumors about her and her mother. Her anger reaches its limit when she learns that her mother is pregnant. Sadly, she can't do anything but endure reality and hope to escape her dull and depressing life.

The story revolves round three teenagers - Prageeth (Roshan), a younger, darker version of Hugh Grant, the son of a business tycoon (Corea), whose fiance is Veena (Anarkali); Sithum (Pubudu), the son of a Postman (Jayalath) is in love with Pooja, (Chathurika) while Ramith who says he comes from the middle class, and is seduced by his biology teacher who as luck would have it lives in an apartment directly opposite his block of flats, nevertheless, voices every teenagers views of life when he says all he wants to do is to take things easy.
