Free-lance undercover agent Coplan receives a phone call from an old girlfriend in Turkey. The panic-stricken woman gives sketchy details of a plot that threatens world security. Hillary and Bonnie meet one morning by the side of the road. They become fast friends, share their secrets, and, on a rising wave of frenzy, later that afternoon, murder an old woman. They did it, they say later, for fun.

Samuel is a wild-looking twelve-year-old orphan who has been placed with a nanny, Marie, for several weeks. Rebecca Lassiter and her husband Brian leave New York City to move to Los Angeles and find the perfect suburban house for them and their young daughter. Shortly after moving in, Rebecca and Brian notice strange things start to happen--food deliveries they did not order, rat and pest control dispatched without their knowledge, and finally--a rock thrown through the window. The Lassiter's ideal life quickly begins to unravel and their family's safety is put in jeopardy.

For over 20 years, film enthusiast and amateur filmmaker Anders Olofsson has worked on what quickly became his life project, "Stall-Erik och Snapphanarna". What he may lack in technical skill he makes up for with his genuine enthusiasm for the project, and perhaps this is how he has managed to convince an unbelievable roster of eighty well-known Swedish film actors to participate in this production. When he will actually finish his film, only time will tell.

In a modern retelling of Tod Browning's "Freaks" (1932), "Freakshow" tells the story of a group of criminals who chose to hide out by working security at a traveling circus. At first, they plot with an insider to steal the ticket sales, but the wily Lucy has bigger plans. She convinces the gang to let her seduce and marry the aging circus owner, Lon, in order to secure the entire circus fortune after he "suffers an accident". "People die all the time," Lucy says. The freaks are on to their scheme, however, and when the youngest of them is caught by the ruthless gang, they show no mercy to ensure her silence. When the circus folk find the child's remains, they swear vengeance, and no one is safe from their fury--least of all, the wily Lucy.
