This movie is divided into three parts: "Wicked" tells of a cursed village, "Tattoo" is about a cursed tattoo and "Wife's Curse" follows a cursed man.

Ruth Butler, a clerk in an emporium, marries Jimmy Rutledge and thereby greatly displeases his mother, the owner of the emporium, because of Ruth's lowly origins.
