Later, the inventor demands his share of the profits and is coldly rebuked. The inventor threatens and the scoundrel ejects him from the place. Without work and no money, the inventor visits his fellow-workmen and explains the situation to them. They immediately rush to the manufacturer and demand justice. The villain is too frightened to comply at once, and the mechanics, misunderstanding his silence, proceed to use violence. The stupefied inventor finally realizes his mistake, and bravely defends the manufacturer

A man falls in love with a piano player and tries to woo her. A passerby hears a maid's music, fancies he's found his true love, and chats her up. Her boyfriend arrives for his music lesson and jealously dismisses the interloper, who swipes a grinder's organ (and monkey) to help him serenade the maid. Later he follows the boyfriend to a residence hotel and plants a bomb in the man's piano. The organ-grinder is gunning for the thief, and soon the piano, bomb, monkey, thief, and pistol-packing grinder are rolling down the road to the delight of maid and lover. It's ka-boom for some and a kiss for others.

This year’s episode, Milestones, focuses on how different groups of Asian Americans mark the milestones throughout their lives.

Mutt and Jeff own and operate their own firehouse. Mutt believes where there's smoke, there's fire, which gets them into an early scrape. But they are called to an actual fire of a several storied residential building. A frantic woman asks them to save her baby who is located on the top floor of the burning building. Their first problem is how to get up to the top floor, which Jeff inadvertently figures out how to do. But other distractions plus trying to find the baby through the thick smoke may be obstacles in achieving their mission. But something that the woman doesn't tell them may be the biggest hurdle.
