Satoko is a mistress by trade or fate: when her master, the silkscreen artist of the Kohoan Temple in Kyoto, dies, she is given to the temple's lascivious head priest Kikuchi. She is drawn to a melancholy young acolyte, Jinen, who has observed the profligacy of his cruel master and Satoko's utter dependence on the man. Jinen is both fascinated and disturbed by Satoko's interest in him; he is similarly caught between loathing of Kikuchi and of the dark circumstances of his birth and his own moral weakness. The story unfolds in a dreamlike manner—a flashback inspired by a now-infamous image on a silkscreen in the souvenir shop at the so-called Temple of the Wild Geese.

Left disfigured and without memory due to a car accident, the painter Andrea Spiegelman decides to retire with her husband to an isolated villa, the legacy of an eccentric uncle dedicated to the cultivation of psychoactive plants. With the help of a diary in which his uncle wrote down his experiences, Andrea begins to experiment with drugs extracted from plants. Thanks to drugs, the painter recovers the lost inspiration and returns to painting, but without realizing it, she is dragged into a whirlwind of hallucinations that lead her to no longer distinguish reality from fantasy...

Andy Panda is the painter and his dog, Butch, is the pointer, and Andy is trying to paint a portrait of Butch doing what a bird-dog is supposed to do...standing still and pointing to the game-bird. But Butch won't stand still. Andy's solution is to rig a gun to go off if Butch moves a muscle. Butch gamely resists all temptations to move but a couple of spiders carry him off in their web, with the gun going off repeatedly and peppering Butch's posterior.

Dogan's father is against the marriage, so he asks Despina the brothel keeper, to prepare a trap for Selma. Dogan believes in their plot and leaves Selma, he gets engaged to his cousin. Selma is pregnant, she starts singing in a bar. Haydar reveals her all the truth. Selma kills him as a self-defense as Haydar wants to molest her. Selma gets arrested, however Despina confesses the truth in the court and Selma, Dogan as well as their child get together.
