An egret, frozen by the winter weather, moves into Pluto's doghouse. Pluto, cold and tired, takes a while to realize his doghouse is moving around without him. Even when he does realize, though, he has a hard time dislodging the interloper.

Samuel, a widower, is taking care of his 7-year-old daughter alone. Overwhelmed and stressed out, he decides to isolate in a chalet he was renovating with his wife in the Italian Alps. In addition to screening films for the public, AFA houses a film museum, research library and art gallery. The event, which raised money for the Archives and celebrated the life and work of avant-garde film maker Stan Brakhage, featured Sonic Youth providing an improvised instrumental collaboration with silent Brakhage’s films.
