A man walks with a shopping cart between the garbage containers and looking for bargains, just as usual. But this day is not as usual. He hears sounds from a container and decides to look for what it can be.

The stooges are greeting card salesmen who are mistakenly inducted into the army after escaping from the jealous husband of one of their customers. In bootcamp their sergeant turns out to be the same man, whom they constantly vex and bewilder. When the boys are sent to the front lines and the sergeant is captured they must rescue him, which they do after doping themselves with laughing gas. At the end they get shot off into the sunset on a cannon shell.

The Road to Jenin is a 2003 documentary directed by Pierre Rehov, a French-Algerian film director of Jewish descent, whose documentaries mostly deal with the Middle East conflict. A tremendous battle between the Zzu Zzu's mom and the army takes place and although she rescues Zzu Zzu and Young-gu from the thieves, she is killed by air force's missile. Despite Young-gu's pleas to stop, the police shoot at Zzu Zzu. Zzu Zzu saves her own life by faking her death.
