Kachra Seth runs an empire of collecting garbage, which is merely a front to cover-up for his other business - drug trafficking. When Jaggu's mom is hospitalized, he comes to Kachra for monetary assistance, he is assigned to a task instead, and unable to complete the task he is apprehended by the police with the assistance of a librarian, and is subsequently found guilty and sent to prison. Jaggu's place is taken by Rajeshwar alias Raja, who is also attracted to Tina and even rescues her from one of Kachra's goons, Chabiley, and they both fall in love. When Jaggu returns from prison, he finds his mom has passed away, and his sister is missing, believed to have committed suicide.

Shibuya, Tokyo, is bustling with the Halloween season. A wedding is being held at Shibuya Hikarie, where Detective Miwako Sato of the Metropolitan Police Department is dressed in a wedding dress. While Conan and the other invited guests are watching, an assailant suddenly bursts in, and Detective Wataru Takagi, who was trying to protect Sato, is injured. Takagi survived and the situation was settled, but in Sato's eyes, the image of the grim reaper that she had seen when Detective Matsuda, the man she had been in love with, had been killed in a series of bombings three years ago, overlapped with Takagi's.

Wherever there was a Chinese trader he organized a cockfight, to the extent that he had fighting cocks. But this is not a particularly Chinese cultural trait. It doesn't come from China. Cockfighting is extremely old in the Mediterranean and throughout southern Asia, and in particular the Philippines where it was very organized.
